The Sherman Independent School District Department of Special Population, in partnership with parents and the community, is committed to Building Bearcats by providing specialized academic and behavioral support and services to students with diverse needs in order for them to be fully engaged in high-quality learning environments that challenge and prepare them to be well-rounded, active members of society.

SISD Confidential Special Edcuation

Every school year, school districts destroy confidential special education student folders. Records that will be destroyed are for students who graduated, were dismissed from special education services, or last attended Sherman I.S.D. 成人学生, eighteen years of age or older, or parents or legal guardians for students under eighteen may request to have their records.
